POWDER SURFER collectioN

Welcome to the 2024 Kamber Labs powder surfer collection. After 2 years of research, design, and prototyping we are proud to present our first line of hand-made boards! Powder surfers give a truly unique sensation to the rider. Absent of bindings unlike a traditional snowboard, powder surfers allow the rider to feel truly free while surfing the waves of the mountains.

The Klassic

Designed off a traditional snowboard with a Kamber twist. The wide pointed tip floats high above the snow allowing the thinner tail to sink. The design of the side cuts and tail create a smooth flowing ride that you can enjoy anywhere with the right amount of snow. The rounded shape of the tail makes the board versatile for tricks and can be road in switch. It is great in low to deep snowpack. Perfect for the backyard hill with friends.

The Karver

Designed to be our hard-charging board the Karver is perfect for fast rides and tail slashes. With a narrower waist than the Klassic and cut outs along the tail, the board is perfect for carving tight turns and slashes. The unique shape is based on modern powder snowboards and is meant to be a directional charger. It is ideal for all levels of snow pack. Perfect for the backyard hill to deep days in the backcountry.

The Kommander

Designed to be our dedicated deep powder board, the Kommander is perfect for smooth flowing rides. The Kommander is the longest board in our collection and features a wide blunt tip that plows above the surface of the snow. The waist of the board is narrower than our other shapes but flairs to a twin tip tail allowing the board to carve deep into the powder for maximum control and stability. Ideal for medium to deep snowpacks.

ABOUT OUR BOARDS

our powder surfers are constructed from 9 layers of B/BB premium Baltic Birch producing a strong and flexible board. The layers are laminated together using a permanent water proof adhesive.

We then press the boards to form in our custom presses. After being pressed for 24hrs the boards are rough cut to shape on the bandsaw.

After being rough cut, we then route the boards to their final shape on our custom made router templates. this insures a consistent shape from board to board.

Once being cut to their final shape, we then attach the hard maple rails to the the base. these rails are important to improve control and stability.

In the final step before we seal the boards, we hand paint the graphics using a eco friendly water based screen-printing ink.

After sealing the boards with a waterproof and uv resistant coating, we grip the boards with a high density EVA rubber. The grips are cut on our custom die cutter.

before the boards are ready to be shipped, we attach the hardware and logo. in this step, the board also goes through its final inspection to make sure it is ready for the Rider.
